The ironworks project

ESH Build have completed a phase of the new Ironworks development in Holbeck Urban Village on Leeds South Bank. The development is a hub for Leeds’ creative and digital businesses, and a diverse scene of independent food and drink businesses, a place to live, work and play. Stuart Leslie, divisional director of ESH Build in Yorkshire, said: “We are very proud to have been appointed as principal contractor to deliver such an exciting scheme.”

 

The circulation areas and corridors have been fitted with Rawson Carpet Solution’s ‘Riven’ plank, a structured carpet tile in plank format, providing a natural structured aesthetic, complementing the space with a biophilic inspired finish. Riven carpet in tiles and planks are one of he newer carpet ranges from Rawson, a UK Manufacturer since 1865. Installed by John Abbott flooring, Riven comes in a selection of biophilic colours ways to complement any space.

 

Designed by Leeds company Nick Brown Architects Ltd, the converted mills and chimneys are centered around a private landscaped garden and courtyard.
